What you’ll be able to do:
If your passion and expertise are in Lean, Agile, Human Centered Design and Extreme Programming (XP) practices, we have an outstanding opportunity for you to deliver innovative software products that will redefine the future of mobility. You will collaborate closely and continuously with product managers, designers and product owners to build, validate and release software products early and often. You will lead the team in working through technical practices and business domain to transform our customer experiences through thoughtful technology. You will:
Set the direction for a new platform to interact with our owners
Build software end-to-end that brings leading-edge products to life
Measure the results of change
Collaborate with business partners to define requirements
Work with other teams in implementing microservice architecture
Implement security and operations standard methodologies
Teach and mentor team members
Participate in production support rotation for off-hours support
The minimum requirements we seek:
5 or more years of experience in Object Oriented development
2+ years of experience in Agile practices (SAFE, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Our preferred requirements:
In-depth software engineering knowledge
Background with OO design principles in eXtreme programming disciplines, including: Paired programming Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience with Spring Cloud and deploying to cloud platforms, preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Cloud Foundry.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other technical specialists, product managers, UI/UX designers and business partners
Proficiency in continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines using automation servers (Jenkins) and build plugins (Maven, Gradle, etc.)
