Software Engineer Manager (iOS)

What you’ll be able to do:

• Code and deploy exciting connectivity solutions for our customers

• Lead technical implementation of cutting edge connected vehicle solutions for our customers

• Collaborate with teams working on connected software solutions to deliver new features

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of our solutions and continually improve our codebase and quality

• Growing, recruiting and interviewing your own team.

The minimum requirements we seek:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar scientific field of study

• 6+ years of work experience in software development

• 4+ years of experience with iOS app development using Objective-C and/or Swift, with a solid understanding of Cocoa and UIKit/SwiftUI frameworks and understanding of application design patterns

• 4+ years of experience with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including:

• Pair/Mob programming

• Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD)

• 2+ years of experience building, mentoring and leading a team of engineers

Our preferred requirements:

• Evidence of building, mentoring and leading a team of engineers

• Highly effective in working with other technical experts, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business stakeholders for new feature development, bug fixes, enhancements and performance improvements on customer applications

• Expertise in mobile foundations and developing frameworks/SDKs and modular applications

• Proficiency in continuous integration and continuous delivery in the mobile space

• Experience in bringing the latest customer experience and technology direction from the developer ecosystem into the product roadmaps

• Full Stack systems and product experience

• Familiarity with Design thinking and engaging with customers
