As part of the Customer Analytics team, the Site Analytics Supervisor will lead a team of professionals covering all aspects of Ford’s site analysis and measurement. You will be a key part of a group of digital marketing strategists and analysts, working with Marketing to help them optimize interactive marketing strategies and tactics. Site Analytics is responsible for using structured problem solving and analytics to influence the company’s major decisions and drive additional revenue and cost savings. In this role, you will lead the web analytics with a focus on critical website KPI’s (e.g., traffic, conversion, AOV), measure and evaluate website performance, maximize channel shopping and sales opportunities to ensure the website is delivering optimal value to the organization. Responsible for analysis on website enhancements and online marketing activities. SEO is a critical part of the process.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a combination of strong analytical, problem solving, and data manipulation skills and experience, the ability to synthesize analytic findings into actionable strategic recommendations, and experience in interactive/digital marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive analysis of experiments to uncover changes in metrics, identify shifts in user behavior and effectively communicate the story behind test data

  • Automate data collection for all experiments including primary and secondary KPI, segmentation, profitability, statistical validity, etc

  • Create efficient analysis methodologies for investigating deltas uncovered from initial experiment templates and incorporate those enhancements into automated solutions as appropriate

  • Proactively identify test-specific data capture required to enhance existing data points that will serve as secondary metrics and may inform future test iterations

  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative storytelling to communicate results to internal stakeholders ranging from managers to executives with clear recommendations

  • Develop modeling techniques to assess potential test impacts to prioritize experimentation roadmap

  • Ask “why” questions about experiments and answer them, as long as the return on effort is positive

  • Partner closely with digital marketing teams (Social, SEO, Paid search, Email) and other stakeholders on testing initiatives

  • Build highly automated data capture and reporting tools in conjunction with technical teams to support an increasing volume of experiments

  • Leverage multiple, large data sets to gain insight into customer behavior

  • Apply statistical anomaly detection to highlight variance in key metrics for further investigation

  • Create visualizations that improve ability to quickly analyze tests and communicate findings to an executive audience

  • Support structured and adhoc analysis to optimize the customer experience and populate experimentation roadmap

  • Understand key business priorities, drivers and hypotheses, in order to deliver actionable insights and propose new areas for investigation

  • Help define requirements for infrastructure, data and reporting that will enable us to understand the what and why of customer actions

  • Identify innovative ways for measuring and improving customer engagement

  • Recognizes the connection between the business operations and analytics to influence business strategies and solutions

  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies with our internal team

  • Define key metrics and identify sources of data to create test projections.

  • Make recommendations for tests to conduct based on performance analysis and consumer insights

  • Work with scrum teams to ensure necessary tagging and data infrastructure

  • Collect, clean, and synthesize live test data and derive user insights

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing or related technical degree

  • 5+ years’ experience in Marketing or Business Analytics

  • 3+ years’ experience compiling and analyzing data using advanced reporting tools, identifying trends and applying or creating tools for statistical analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing or related field

  • SEO experience

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

  • In depth understanding of third party site analytics software

  • Experience measuring and performance analytics for SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, personalization and customer experience with a proven record of success in the creation and execution of performance analytics

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to help articulate customer and business needs

  • Experience continuously leading and re-prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines (strong project management)

  • Attention to detail, as well as the ability to see the “big picture”

  • Compile and analyze data using advanced reporting tools; identify trends and apply (or create) tools for statistical analysis
