What you’ll be able to do:
Work closely with a group of experienced test engineers to facilitate the E2E verification of Ford's customer facing connected features.
Work closely with PO, PM, MA, in-vehicle and cloud SW development teams to align SW release roadmaps for multiple components inside the telematics system and work internally with the verification team leads to plan their testing accordingly.
Track change requests at all levels of Ford's connected features system and work with the test leads to modify the test requirements accordingly.
Create and maintain “Connected Feature” database for each vehicle line across different electrical architectures.
Create and maintain accurate database of required resources for each testing activities.
Set up and maintain complicated testing ecosystem that resembles the actual E2E system that Ford's customers will use.
Manage and coordinate testing in Prod and Pre-Prod environments.
Provide accurate reporting on SW and CF features health status using complex set of metrics.
Working knowledge of test Planning and defect management and reporting tools e.g. JIRA, Test Rail, SP
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor's degree in Business
5+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
5+ years of experience in Telematics E2E Systems including in-vehicle and cloud-based applications.
5+ years of experience in testing methodologies, Embedded Systems testing tools, lab and in-vehicle testing.
