The Enterprise Product Group Owner – Foundational Enterprise is responsible for strategy development supporting the prioritization, creation, development and ongoing management of the products within this product group for Enterprise Connectivity (EC). They will interact with multiple stakeholders including Business Owners, Product Managers and Vehicle Programs. Enterprise Foundational products support demand for connected products and features that add value for Ford and Lincoln retail, commercial and internal personas and use cases globally.

  • Nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems

  • Define the product roadmap through market and competitor analysis, data extracted internally that provides maximum benefit for the end customer

  • Guide product feature development by establishing clear prioritization of features based on the product roadmap

  • Work as matched pair with product managers within EC operation group to create technical roadmap for product lifecycle management

  • Work closely with other product owners within the EC product org, as well as, product operations and enterprise skill teams.

  • Manage a team to work with key stakeholders to define strategy, scope, costs and timelines for development of new capabilities

  • Define platform features and manage the backlog of capability development

  • Support software development teams to clarify feature objectives and address questions, gaps, etc

  • Manage the user acceptance testing process for new and enhanced products and features

  • Map business processes

  • Support cross team relationships and ensure deliverables are tracked and executed as expected

  • Track and measure the performance of the released features through analytics and assess the paths for the continued improvement of the feature adoption.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Ten or more years of experience working in an Agile software development environment while managing large complex efforts with cross-functional teams

  • Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills to effectively manage various teams that will be cross-functional, multi-department, with many perspectives to engage, influence and gain buy-in

  • Excellent communication as demonstrated by the ability to influence partners and teams

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously each with critical deliverables and deadlines with a focus on delivering results

  • Strong leadership skills to deal effectively with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Creative thinking to lead the team to adopt new solutions to existing/emerging opportunities

  • Ability to partner effectively with Tech and vehicle team(s) to deliver technological solutions
