What you’ll be able to do:
We’re seeking a diligent, detail-driven professional to provide vital expertise in support of our manufacturing process engineering activities. We’re looking to optimize our efforts in safety, quality and productivity. This involves applying engineering principles and analytical techniques to advance continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and products. You will:
Schedule and Deploy Software and Configuration to prototype, production and consumer vehicles
Work with stakeholders to create and manage OTA Deployment Plan.
Work with Ford teams to institute new process and procedures required to support Multi-module
OTA.Manage VIN determination for Ford legacy OTA.
Monitor OTA Deployments, Report status to various teams and product support post OTA rollout
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related scientific field
1+ years of experience in software updates in telecommunications (Apple, Android, Blackberry) or automotive
1+ years of experience with OTA (Over the Air) software Updates and/or testing
Our preferred requirements:
Knowledgeable in vehicle communications
Ability to systematically resolve issues
Ability to administer process and procedures
Self-motivated and driven
