What you’ll be able to do:

  • Work closely with Ford’s Media team, ad agencies, and other GDIA teams to assess marketing campaigns, find opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and measure success relative to business objectives.

  • As part of a diverse team the Marketing Analyst will work cross-functionally with GDIA, Ford Media and agency partners to synthesize insights across attitudinal and behavioral metrics in support of a Best in Class Reporting Solution that allows Ford to optimize Media Spending

  • Ability to deliver timely, impactful insights and recommendations will be the main priority of the Media Analyst.

  • Works with our various Partners to consolidate data, identify opportunities to improve media effectiveness and report those insights to our internal Marketing, Sales and Service (MS&S) clients.

  • Understands the media measurement process will be key for success. Equally important, will be the Analyst’s ability to interpret data and communicate recommendations.

  • Collaborate with a Cross-functional Team to aggregate and analyze data will be the core responsibility of this role.

  • Works closely with MS&S, ad agency, media partners and GDIA Team Members to analyze and communicate campaign performance insights.

  • Handle various external partners that are critical to media reporting

  • Drive core insights to improve advertising effectiveness

  • Create reports for management and business units

  • Collaborate with external data partners, agencies, and vendors to assist with data collection, reporting, and campaign tagging

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3+ years of business analysis experience, working with multiple partners and supporting often complex decision-making processes

  • 2+years of experience in an analytical and/or digital media planning role

Our preferred requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising

  • Strong project management and communication skills will be essential for the success of the role.

  • Media planning/ Communications/ Advertising Theory will be critical to the candidate’s success

  • Statistical knowledge is foundational to the role

  • Project management skills and the ability to own complex analysis

  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to interact easily with all levels of end-users and technical resources

  • Experience working with outside technology consultants, both in a strategic and tactical context

  • Experience in a media-focused environment is desired, but not necessary
