The Manager, Business Project & Support role manages the system development function for the Service Organization to include project and resource planning for both day-to-day support and corporate projects. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provides leadership, development and management for a group of business resources responsible for system projects.
Responsible for improving the processing of project delivery.
Functions as relationship manager between the Service Organization and the Information Technology group.
Assures timely and accurate project deliverables along multiple lines of business.
Manages and promotes project management efficiency and improvements.
Develops process management standards.
Manages the estimation of time and resources for project cost and planning analysis.
Ensures quality by creating metrics for the measurement of projects and/or processes.
Embraces and researches external industry and market trends.
Develops and fosters relationship with customer base through proactive planning and strategy.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires BA/BS degree in Business or Information Technology; 3-5 years of business system project related assignments, project management of complex cross system efforts, feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis; previous management experience preferred; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
