What you’ll be able to do:

The Ford Commercial Solutions organization designs and implements cloud based global solutions that will enable vehicle to cloud telematics for fleet customers.

• Responsible for understanding technical business requirements

• Defining technical architecture solutions for Ford Commercial Customers

• Design cloud-based solutions that comply to GDPR and CCPA standards

• Develop flexible architectures that enable quality capabilities that are leveraged across Ford

Minimum requirements we seek:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science

• Three or more years of experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry and containerization

• Three or more years of experience with developing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP

• Three or more years of cloud operational troubleshooting experience

Our preferred qualifications:

• Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure and private cloud technologies

• Hands on experience with microservice application design and development

• Full application / system development lifecycle knowledge and experience

• Expertise in data security standards and data privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA)

• Expertise in application interoperability standards and methods

• Expertise with REST based Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) methods and implementation technologies such as microservices

• Outstanding and proven leadership skills in working with senior-level management helping in decision making

• Excellent problem-solving skills including leading problem-solving teams

• Self-starter, ability to work independently but still can work within group to deliver top notch solutions

• Self-researcher, ability to research a technology and provide insight to project team

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

• Negotiation skills and ability to work with several and diverse set of stakeholders/customers
