What you’ll be able to do:

  • Analyze data and results using economic and statistical techniques.

  • Apply principles and theories from economics program to predict automobile market conditions.

  • Establish models using Linear/Logistic Regression, Time Series Model, MLE, Bootstrapping, Model Diagnosis/Selection/Validation/Regularization to predict automobile market, inventory and demand.

  • Perform programming to create tables, graphs and listings to generate reports for the statistical analysis plan.

  • Perform MCA effectiveness study to analyze how different vehicle cycle plans influence the sales.

  • Analyze data about automobiles and prepare report for the management to make business plans and decisions for various markets.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including description of economic methodologies, Python and R programs, results and discussions.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • PhD degree in Economics or Statistics

  • 1+ years of Data management experience in a quantitative field, including Machine Learning, Hadoop and Python

Our preferred requirements:

  • 1+ years of enterprise working experience in automobile industry

  • Fast learning in theoretical modeling and coding

  • Self-starter, high level of initiative, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.

  • Strong problem formulation and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong collaboration and communications skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership behaviors.
