Job Description & Qualifications:

The Data Operations Data Analyst leverages existing Identity Resolution technology to build incremental value and insight for the business through expanding the IR services portfolio to our internal customers. Data Analyst will make recommendations for alternative ways to bring data to life to solve business problems. At times, the problem is identified by a business unit, frequently wishing to optimize cost, revenue, or improve quality, and at times problems are formulated by the Data Scientists.

The Data Analyst collaborates with IT teams to support data collection, integration, and retention requirements based on the input collected with the business. Partner with the data steward to ensure that all information utilized adheres to compliance, access management, and control policies as set forth by GDIA.

Work closely with different teams to solve problems and to manage data and analytic projects. Improve department results through innovation.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Management, Computer Engineering, or other technical degree

  • 1+ years of experience analyzing data (academic or professional)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong collaboration and communications skills

  • Technical, database, and/or information systems skills

  • Proven ability to communicate (both orally and visually) findings in an understandable format by business partners

  • Business development and relationship building to establish partnerships with third parties and internal stakeholders.

  • Database knowledge SQL

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Qlik, Alteryx or other

  • Preferred experience using Hadoop environment
