Position Title: Security AnalystPosition Number: 353371Location: Detroit, MI 48226Position Type: TemporaryRequired Skill Set:.Net, Batch, Data Analysis, ERP, PowerShell, Security, VB ScriptOptional Skill Set:C#Position Description:**Only U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. can be considered as W2 candidates.**Security AnalystDuration: 12 Months (Tentative start date 01/18/21)Positions: 1Location: Detroit, MI 48226)Job Description:Provides security expertise to business unit or groups in determining the best security solution for a business projectActs as an advisor for strategic security planning, creates security policies and develops rollout plans for implementation of policies and proceduresMay be involved with various aspects of the information security processHas thorough understanding of technical concepts required for specialized fieldAbility to serve as a security consultant on projectsAbility to perform security risk assessments as assignedMay interface with department/business to identify and coordinate security projects.Demonstrates a deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends that could impact the field and the businessAbility to work independently to define, manage, and complete activitiesTakes action to resolve customer problems or concerns in a timely manner that exceeds normal expectationsCommunicates in a manner that conveys credibility and confidence that he/she will deliver on the customers needsMay interface with senior management to convey information and to build consensus on project directionEncourages and supports others to perform their jobs more effectivelyMandatory Skillsbull; Minimum of 4+ years information security specific experience with EPP and/or EDR technologies.bull; Demonstrated knowledge of maintaining EPP and /or EDR rules and policies.bull; Knowledge and experience creating and maintaining policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentsbull;Ability to perform data analysis using standard office productivity software.bull; Scripting experience: o PowerShell, bash script, batch file scripting, VBScript, o Familiarity with .NET (C# bonus),bull; Hands on experience with software deployment packaging to support Windows and non-Windows environmentsDesired Skillsbull; A forward thinker that looks at the moving parts and not the diagrams or documentation.bull; Strong knowledge of current cyber security threats and techniques, as well as a dedicated and self-driven desire to research current cyber security products.bull; Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail.bull; A strong customer/client focus with ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.bull; Effectively works as part of a technical teams on projects and resolving incidents.
