ManpowerGroup Quality Assurance Technician - Direct Hire in Chelsea, Michigan
Manpower is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to work for our client, JIFFY mixes (Chelsea Milling Company), in Chelsea, Michigan. This is a full-time, direct hire position likely to be on third (3rd) shift working 11pm-7am.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Verifying the execution of quality systems and processes.
Ensuring that operations personnel are completing quality checks in various departments.
Performing inspections of finished product, ingredients, and materials at all stages of processing.
Conducting internal quality audit systems.
Performing finished product testing on every batch produced and performing one random bake from shift.
Auditing lot codes recorded for ingredients by comparing lot code recorded on log to lot code of ingredient used.
Collaborating with other QA technicians and operations personnel in a team effort to identify potential quality issues, communicate them thoroughly, seek prompt resolution, and verify resolution with follow-up.
Desired qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Minimum of an associate's degree in a scientific field; bachelor's preferred.
Two (2) + years of analytical/quality lab experience.
Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience working in the food/beverage industry preferred.
