HRIS Analyst Company: TriMas CorporationPrimary Location: 38505 Woodward Avenue, Suite 200, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304 USAEmployment Type: Salaried | Full-TimeFunction: Human ResourcesEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledMain Duties ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst leadssystem projects, analyzes complex business systems, develops businessrequirement specifications, and performs system testing, planning andimplementation. Administers, supports,reports, and performs maintenance of the primary HRIS and supporting other HR technologiesand systems (i.e. applicant tracking, performance management, learningmanagement system, etc.). This role serves as a technicalpoint-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matterexperts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writingand analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.EssentialDuties and Responsibilities includethe following. Other duties may be assigned.olliHRISDevelopment - acts as a key liaison and works closely with HRIS vendor, thirdparties and other stakeholders (i.e. corporate and Division HR, payroll, finance,etc.) to develop and maintain primary HRIS and other HR applications; Coordinatesefforts to ensure development efforts meet business needs./liliSystemsand Security Administration - develops, implements, and modifies systemrequirements; Maintains security anddatabase files and tables; Builds and maintains database level security accessprofiles to prevent unauthorized access to data and systems; Provides technicalsupport for all users; Tracks and reports all issues to hosted services forissue resolution; Serves as main contact for system audits./liliResponsiblefor developing, implementing, and monitoring change, and training initiativesrelated to Time Attendance systems. Collaborate with team members and vendor partners on systemconfiguration activities and ensure accurate results with thorough testing andvalidation./liliDesignsand develops timely and accurate ad-hoc reports with available tools usingadvanced query techniques for company management, staff and end users; Providesanalysis and interpretation of report data as required./liliSupportsinbound and outbound interfaces to and from third parties; Conducts root causeanalysis and resolution of file and system issues;/liliDocumentstechnical specifications and creates theappropriate user documentation and procedures related to new or enhancedbusiness system processes and conducts training sessions for team members andimpacted customer areas./liliProvidessupport to payroll by processing bi-weekly or monthly payrolls ensuringaccurate and timely payments to employees./liliMaintainsemployee records and implements payroll deductions for garnishments, tax leviesand child support enforcement orders./li/olQualificationsEducation and/or Experience Required: B.S./B.A. Degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field orequivalent combination of education and work experience required. Minimum of 2 years HRIS and/or Specialistexperience. Required:Working knowledge of payroll, benefits,compensation, and other general HR disciplines. LanguageSkills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret generalbusiness periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, orgovernmental regulations. Ability to write business correspondence.
