Senior Analyst, Supply & Logistics
Whirlpool’s Supply Chain is constantly evolving across multiple business partners resulting in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The In-Stock Analyst Senior will be responsible for managing Factory Distribution Centers (FDC), refining and developing strategic processes, and providing analysis/solutions to In-Stock/Availability issues in the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) network.
Manage the deployment plan for the FDC and provide future weeks throughput to assist in acquiring labor/transportation.
Complete root cause analysis when In-Stock / Availability issues arise to provide better input for the FDC/RDC network.
Support the Product Fulfillment Team (PFT) by providing analysis to drive better inventory decisions.
Develop an understanding of Whirlpool’s current Supply Chain business processes to continuously improve the inputs to our systems.
Use available tools and data to provide analysis to process partners in order to take action for resolution of inventory issues.
Work with cross-functional teams from many departments within and outside of Whirlpool’s Integrated Supply Chain Organization.
Subject matter expert (SME) that analysts can come to for direction on standard processes.
Refine and develop functional vision, process, and strategy
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or other fields.
2+ years of work experience in one or more of the following areas: inventory, supply planning, forecasting, manufacturing, procurement, order management, materials or logistics.
2+ year of experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP or other ERP).
Strong understanding of Supply Chain concepts.
Proven analytical and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with business partners at various levels.
Ability to manage through or escalate issues.
Ability to motivate self and lead by example and influence as a thought leader to both direct and indirect teams.
Ability to align your work to function vision and strategy.
Ability to influence others to effectively support projects/initiatives.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting.
Demonstrated critical thinking, ability to problem solve, and resourcefulness at seeking resolution.
Basic understanding of Continuous Improvement tools & methodologies.
Knowledge of the Google G Suite & Microsoft Excel.
