HERE’SA TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
ApplicationSecurity Governance: In this role at Kellogg’s, you’ll drive the evolution of Software Application Security across our Global Enterprise. As a Subject Matter Expert, you’ll provide guidance for new applications on their standards, procedures and controls. Contribute both on an individual application basis as well as a global strategic basis to raise the application security posture across the organization. Perform and/or assist with internal application security assessments as needed. This may involve manual effort as well as the use of testing tools.
ProjectManagement: Set the governance standard for projects in the Kellogg Company where new applications are being added or upgraded. Expand the application security process into Global standards. Add your new insights to improve the security governance process at Kellogg’s. Work with application and system owners, and development teams to accurately document system deficiencies, recommend solutions, and track remediation activities
ThoughtLeadership: Drive the new standard of Kellogg Company’s Global Application Security. Keep up to date on evolving issues in Application Security and implement new ideas at Kellogg’s to ensure the safety and security of the overall corporate information structure, while keeping your skills sharp. Disseminate specialist application security knowledge to both the security and development communities. Assist Program Teams and security review service partners to submit, review and assist in remediation of applications.
YOURRECIPE FOR SUCCESS
HighSchool Diploma or GED
ExtensiveApplication Security experience in applications such as SAP, SAAS
ApplicationsSecurity including Authentication and Access Controls, Privileged AccessManagement
Settingcode standards, procedures, control documents as it relates to ApplicationSecurity
Abilityto risk assess IT projects from an Application Security standpoint
Excellentcommunication skills and ability to connect at all levels of the organization
Ahistory of being a self-starter, innovative and creating success in ambiguoussituations, driving results through influence and a passion for excellence
Knowledgeof Secure Development Lifecycle methodologies, development platforms (Java and.NET etc.)
ApplicationSecurity vulnerability knowledge including OWASP, SANS Top 25, etc.
Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Science, Business or other related field
SAPApplication Security / Developer Experience
Experienceworking in a Global team or enterprise
Certifications:such as CISP, CISSP, CISM
