Job Overview


The Mopar Sr. Business Process Specialist is responsible for managing demand and application development for multiple systems across the application portfolio including My Way. This involves working directly with the business partners, supplier partners and other organizations to meet the objectives of a demand or project. A key part of the role is to establish a good working relationship with the business partners, manage expectations, identify business drivers and assist in development of business cases for key initiatives including My Way – Customer Scheduling & Communication System.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, document requirements, develop prototypes and work with the supplier partner resources to develop solutions to meet requirements.

  • Provide guidance to the development team during the analysis, design, development and testing of solutions.

  • Provide expert knowledge of application architecture and design while consulting with business and IT peers.

  • Apply project management expertise to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure deliverables are complete on time and within budget.

  • Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and the potential application to the business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application development, design, and implementation

  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing in a business analyst role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters or Advanced Degree

  • Experience in Web Technologies (preferably Java/J2EE) and Web Application Development

  • Experience in Application Architecture and Design

  • Strong knowledge of requirements gathering techniques

  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team towards a common solution

  • Demonstrated leadership ability on small/medium size projects

  • Experience in executing Project Management methodologies and techniques

  • Experience with Agile application development

  • Advanced problem solving skills

  • Strong analytical and design skills

  • Exhibit creative thinking while defining sound and practical solutions

  • Self-starter with the ability to learn complex business processes

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and reasoning skills to gain support of business leaders, IT colleagues, IT leadership, and supplier partners

  • Knowledge of dealer network business process or ecosystem
