JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop and Verify Function/Software Design

  • Implement and Verify Software Modules

  • Create Function Documentation

  • Initiate Function Calibration File

  • Identify and Analyze Function/Software Component Requirements

  • Create or Update High Level Function/Software Component Design

  • Integrate Software Modules

  • Develop Function/Software Final Tests

  • Develop Function/Software Integration Tests

  • Develop Function/Software Regression Tests

  • Implement Software Industrialization

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • 3 plus years of experience in 8-32 bit software development for real-time embedded systems on Motorola and Infineon microcontroller platforms using C and ASM Languages

  • 2-3 years of software project lead experience

  • 1-2 years of safety relevant software projects

  • Familiarity of ISO26262 standard

  • Experience in understanding the hardware datasheets of microcontrollers

  • Low Level Driver software experience, Experience with RTOS, RTE, Infineon Tricore, Lauterbach, Debug tools, Build environment, Understanding of memory map

  • Good written, verbal communication and interpersonnel skills

  • Working experience in team environment

  • Experience with customer interfacing during requirement and through SW project delivery

  • Knowledge of SW development process, PLC

  • Capable to run the project using Agile methodologies

  • Experience in software product development cycle methodologies

  • Experience in embedded C

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters in Embedded systems or equivalent degree

  • Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in multicore environment

  • Hands on knowledge of all/many of the following functional areas: Functional Safety Management, Cybersecurity, Requirements Engineering

  • Hands on knowledge of all/many of the following Tools: PREEvision, dSpace, Lauterbach (Trace32), Signal Generators, CANalyzer, CANoe

  • Experience in electrification products of automobile (Battery management systems, DC-DC converters, Chargers etc)
