FCA US, LLC Senior Applications Specialist in Auburn Hills, Michigan

This Senior Application Specialist supports a group of manufacturing and engineering applications critical to the stability and driving efficiencies of the organization. This Senior Application Specialist will work closely with internal and external supplier partners, providing production support and overseeing the day to day operations ensuring SLA’s / KPI’s are met.Job responsibilities include but not limited to:•Monitors overall application performance and required services that support business partners as required•Ensures ICT priorities related to application sun-downing, improvements and CPU reduction is completed•Production support (respond and resolve tickets, scheduling changes)•Optimization (improves system performance, reduce downtime, reduce costs and risk•Software/hardware maintenance (validate applications after software / hardware maintenance, provide remediation when required, impact analysis for existing applications)•Cyclical activities (model year, year-end, plant initialization/launch, change over, disaster recovery testing and associated documentation)•Manage ticket groups (pending/backlog)•Application monitoring, which includes set up of application monitors, perform health check and review logsBasic Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering•PMP certification•Minimum 5 years of application support experience, including trouble shooting/root cause analysis/corrective action•Minimum 3 years of release/change control process experience within an IT or manufacturing organization•Minimum 3 years of incidentroblem management experience within an IT or manufacturing organization•Minimum 3 years of business analyst/application architecture experience in successfully delivering complex technology solutions within a defined SDLC•Ability to interact with business partners and manage offshore supplier resourcesPreferred Qualifications:•Master’s degree in IT/Leadership or MBA•ITIL certification in service management•Excellent problem solving and communication skills both oral and written•Experience working in a cross functional team environments and being the functional SME•Practical understanding and actual experience SLA/KPI application management•Ability to hold themselves and others accountable in restoring services and reducing incidents•Strong knowledge of requirements gathering techniques•Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage complex projects•Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn complex business process•Practical understanding and experience with Six Sigma methodologies/KaizenOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
