Qualifications

Stellanits is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to be the Scrum Master for a product development team responsible for Connectivity Software (BSW). This team defines, develops, and delivers the foundational software for multiple Powertrain embedded control systems. As the Scrum Master for this team, the qualified individual will be the enabler for the effective functioning of a software product development team using Agile Methodology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Custodian for the Agile process and ensures all scrum processes are used as intended.

  • Protects the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keeps them focused on the task at hand

  • Helps the Product Owner maximize productivity to ensure effective delivery of business commitments

  • Maintain the backlog and release plans, publish reports to ensure the Product Owner is updated about the team’s progress

  • Leads the team Scrum practices and ceremonies

  • Work with the Agile Coaches to develop, implement and manage team metrics, evaluate team metrics and make recommendations to teams for improvements

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited university (or equivalent)

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional industry experience, with exposure to product development organizations, teams, operations

  • Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills

  • Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills, especially in diverse groups of people

  • Record of successful and measurable process/performance improvement initiatives

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • 1 or more years of agile experience including practical experience in the Scrum master role within an Agile team

  • ScrumMaster and/or Product Owner certifications

  • Working knowledge of Agile collaborative tool environments such as IBM RTC, JIRA, Polarion
