Internal Ref: 5000393583406Job DescriptionQuality Assurance Testing ManagerThe Quality Assurance (QA) Testing Manager Senior will be responsible for ensuring quality, accuracy, and functionality of eBanking products and project development efforts. This role will assist in directing quality assurance efforts to design, write, and execute quality assurance plans for new and modified applications. This role will work closely with the project team during requirements to gather pertinent information to build (or oversee the building of) test cases and plans that will ensure all software development meets design specifications, company standards, and end-user requirements. This role will communicate with the full project team regarding testing tasks, metrics reporting, and problem determination and will also assist with troubleshooting and resolution.Position CompetenciesSuccessful incumbents must have a use of and passion for technology, have superior organization and time management skills, have a passion for quality and attention to detail, have an understanding of Web and Mobile Banking trends, have ability to work in both a team environment and independently as necessary, have a proactive and open communication style, have the ability to work in a fast paced, cross-functional team, have strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem management, troubleshooting skills, and creative problem solving.Responsibilities:* Project Management and department testing -- Develop and publish quality assurance plans for projects and arrange quality assurance tasks within the project plan. Create test strategy and test scripts and update regression scripts for projects that affect eBanking products. Participate in iterative quality assurance testing efforts for all eBanking projects during system integration and user acceptance testing. Testing will be done on multiple platforms and environments as well as devices. Assist in coordination of test data in advance of and during testing. Execute test scripts as well as unscripted testing. Assist in tracking action items and defects until completion. Communicate and report test progress, results and other relevant information to project stakeholders. Elevate issues to higher levels of management, as appropriate; Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities; Devise options for achieving targets when progress is not as intended.* Test Competency and Development -- Assist in delivery of required test documents to support enterprise and product disaster recovery testing, performance testing and penetration testing. Deliver effective test management procedures and processes during the test delivery lifecycle. Suggest test process improvements based on incident trends; Perform all quality activities as needed.* General Administration -- Ensure test scripts are fully developed and updated appropriately. Document applications through screen shots delivered for marketing or other reasons as well as word documentation of applicate state. Pursue capability to implement automated testing. Attend team and project meetings. Report on defects and status in an ongoing manner. Measure and monitor progress of test defects compared to previous projects/engagements.
