Program Manager The Program Manager position is responsible and accountable for managing the delivery of complex enterprise solutions through assigned programs in a business line. The assigned programs will have multiple related projects. Reporting Information/Location The Program Manager is located at Auburn Hills Operations Center and reports to the Vice President of the Commercial/Treasury Management products. Position Responsibilities * Provide expert leadership and oversight to highly complex, visible and large budget programs and bring successful completion on time, on budget and to customer satisfaction delivering project business benefits. * Provide expert management of risk management plans to decrease the probability and impact of events adverse to the project. * Provide awareness on the connection points for the delivery and execution of aligned projects. * Provide appropriate communication for integration effort that may require adjustment to products planned for each project. * Manage conflicting projects, environments, and resources and recommend appropriate sequencing/mitigation planning. * Plan and support the delivery of environments as required by projects. * Act as liaison between internal projects and technology teams as well as external partners and clients. * Understand planning iterations for the individual projects as well as inter-project dependencies. * Manage a group of related projects running concurrently for a business line through assigned project team. * Contribute and manage program/project management methodology development and develop program/project management skills in assigned project managers. * Translate business and corporate initiatives in the program into strategic project tracts by proper prioritization. * Manage the program's project evaluation and recommend project prioritization, when required. * Manage complex multi-function delivery relationships with executive leadership, establish relationships of trust with management and colleagues; and driving consensus across the organization on difficult topics. * Regularly make strategic decisions and solve complex issues for assigned programs independently. * Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiation and reconcilement of vendor invoices and hold vendor accountable to cost/schedule/quality deliverables. Effectively manage vendor code release management. * Interact with all areas of IT for risk/issue management and escalated problem resolutions. * Interact with executive leadership (Vice Chairman, CIO, CTO, SVP and EVP) on a regular basis for program status communication, financial updates, and project sponsor mentoring of their roles/responsibilities. * Support release and change management processes as well as integration with corporate processes. * Set the release schedule and scope for recommended sequencing and coordination with vendor for code builds. * Identify areas of development in project team members and provide performance feedback to their managers. * Mentor/coach project managers and provide a role model for individual development. * Mentor/coach and encourage skill development of project managers. * Manage to the financial budget and schedule established for the program. * Employ expert financial acumen with proper financial forecasting and create financial reports for executive leadership communication. * Review and approve the program budget updates and maintenance.
