Description: The PEGA Lead System Architect will provide architectural guidance and governance on the Pega platform, its applications and data integrations. Responsibilities: liResponsible for the overall system architecture of the PEGA Platform/li liProvides lead architectural support and guidance to multiple teams/li liDefines, develops, documents, and maintains governance / best practices documentation/li liProvides technical expert services to PEGA projects including: design review, configuration walk-through, reuse assessments, performance health checks, phase readiness reviews/li liDevelop Proof of Concepts and participate in DCO sessions/li liWorks with product vendor(s) to solve product bugs and environment performance issues/li liManage upgrade plan and administrate hotfixes/li liHarvests / builds / supports reusable common components/li liHandles Infrastructure / Platform Support needs/li liMonitors performance of the PEGA environment (including Data layer) using OOTB indicators as well as using custom scripts to ensure healthy and stable environment/li liPrepares technical and support documentation/li liManages support resources on-site and off-shore/li liParticipate in daily scrum meetings and support / resolve PEGA blockers/li /ul Industry: Automotive Job Type: Contract/Full Time Start Date: February 2021 Pay Rate:DOE Requirements: liBachelorrsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field required./li li7+ years of hands on PRPC PEGA platform experience/li liPega Certified Lead System Architect certification/li liPega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification/li liPega PRPC rule management/li liOO Programming languages such as java, python, C++, Ruby, .Net/li liDatabase knowledge (preferably SQL Server)/li liBrowser technologies including HTML, JavaScript, XML and CSS/li liWeb services Soap, REST, CI/CD, Visio, UML and Excel/li liHands on experience in architecting designing PEGAapplication across a large enterprise/li liAbility to design / configure Pega apps/li liStrong people-to-people skills/li liStrong written and oral communication skills for both technical and functional topics/li liAbility to multitask and prioritize workload/li liBe able to work independently with minimal direction/li liAdvanced problem solving skills/li liExhibits creative thinking while defining sound and practical solutions/li liDesign and develop PEGA BPM applications/li liDevelop solution architecture within the PEGA PRPC environment, collaborating with technical architects and other senior technical members/li liAdopt best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding/li liDesign application frameworks, class structures and data models/li liInvolve in creating and developing codes to execute test plans for quality delivery/li liCreate, maintain and update documentation of the PEGA solutions/li liImplement configuration changes to PEGA applications based on customerrsquo;s functional and technical requirements/li liAssist business users during UAT/li liProvide post production support and knowledge transfer to the team/clients as applicable/li liWork closely with the team to resolve
