Position Summary:

Goals/Objectives will be identified and agreed upon monthly. For example, Month 1 – achieve competency with 5 standard devices, plus standard image and supported software, as well as Remedyforce ticketing system; Month 2 – demonstrate ability to provide timely Response and Resolution of incidents and service requests, as prescribed by SLAs; Month 3 – achieve competency with Microsoft Intune for mobile device management.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the IS&S Lead PC Technician the candidate will, with high initiative and diligence, support all business efforts, and follow all procedures, processes, and guidelines of the enterprise and the IS&S Service Center.

  • Support: PC/Printer/Smartphone/peripheral troubleshooting and software installation/support

  • Perform PC Setups, moves, purges

  • Work with IS&S Operations group to support networking, virtualization, and system administration efforts as tasks align with the candidates training and experience

  • Incident resolution and problem identification/resolution.

  • Support knowledge workers either desk side or using remote support tools

  • Work with Asset management to deploy, track, and recover computers as necessary

  • Deploy and support standard IS&S equipment and software to knowledge workers

  • Work as part of project teams to complete project oriented tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma.

  • At least one year community college or 4-year university.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Products (Office 2013-2016 and Office 365)

  • Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Extreme accuracy in quality of work

  • Work independently and on teams

  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills

  • Must be able to multi task

Physical Effort:

  • Medium- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, walking, crawling, climbing, squatting or sitting in a confined position

  • Repeated lifting up to 25 pounds possible

  • Lifting of up to 200 pounds possible as part of a team.

    Working Conditions:

  • This position requires ability to work both alone and as a team, at time to be isolated with minimal support, in both inside and outside work areas at multiple work sites with limited access, while maintaining a regular work schedule

  • Manufacturing and office environments

  • In manufacturing environment expect high degrees of activity, noise, dust.
