Within a technology domain, the Network Architect will be globally responsible for developing the technologies, architectures and configurations that deliver the infrastructure services to position the organization to achieve current and long-term objectives. This position provides technical expertise within a domain area, creates standards, delivery models and proactively designs infrastructure solutions to support change and drive innovation related to a technical domain. The Network Architect communicates a clear technical direction, creates technology use cases and develops strategies for technology transitions within a technology domain. He/she is responsible for the creation of global technology standards within a domain, enrollment in the service catalog, and technical domain expertise.The Network Architect reports to the ICT Global Lead of Technology Architecture.If you are a proven leader, able to communicate with people from varying technological backgrounds and enjoy working with advanced network technologies in a fast paced environment then this position is for you!Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor of Science•Minimum 5 years of network design and implementation experience in large scale enterprise environments using primarily Cisco equipment, Nexus, 6500’s, 7500’s, 3600’s, 3550, etc.•Expert knowledge of internet and e-commerce technologies including: internet server farms, load balancing, SSL off-loading, web caching, content distribution, firewalls, intrusion detectionrevention, etc.•Fully conversant in IP address and AS number schemes, routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, as well as end to end QoS across LAN and WAN•Experience in designing Software Defined Network (SDN), network overlay and network virtualization•Must be able to identify risks and establish priorities in a high energy environmentPreferred qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science•Cisco certification of CCNP or higher, CCIE•Strong Knowledge in OTV architecture, Fortinet firewall and IPS, VPN, Cisco Works, LMS, DCNM, Sniffers•Demonstrates ability to communicate in written and verbal form to all levels of management as well as technical and non-technical business partners•Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving abilities•Ability to create complex end-to-end network designs to meet business needsOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
