Infrastructure Operations Analyst IIIResponsible for providing comprehensive Mainframe Operations support for the Data Center on the Midnight shift 12:30am to 9am. Partners with senior Infrastructure Operations team members to identify opportunities and solve problems. Collaborates with various technology teams and vendors. Resolves incidents, requests and/or change orders associated with operations. Provides budgetary support to management regarding resources, hardware/software costs. Coordinate and communicate with Programmers, Analyst and Systems Contractors on job triggering, job dependencies, job requirements, job schedules and job overrides.Position Responsibilities:System OperationsulliPerform Level 0 and Level 1 support to associates and document steps taken in incidents and service requests./liliIdentify potential operational issues in projects, request fulfillment and individual assignments./liliMonitor operational performance and troubleshoot alerts from commercial, open source and locally developed monitoring tools./liliProvide system failure analysis and recovery recommendations./liliParticipate in Business continuity planning and testing./liliServe as liaison with non-technical people, operations personnel, and/or field service personnel; interact directly with customers to negotiate solutions and implementation specifics./liliPerform system provisioning, analysis and tuning./li/ulSupportulliWork closely with others to perform technical analysis and make recommendation on minimally complex problems and incidents./liliSecond line support for incident management problems and issues related to select applications./liliWorks closely with others to identify and resolve root cause behind reported problems and issues./liliAssist in the development and/or maintenance of operational documentation./liliConduct proactive maintenance toward select systems./liliParticipate in the design, development, testing and implementation of enhancements required to maintain business unit success./liliEvaluate business processes and company policies to enhance process workflows./liliProvide support in a 24x7 data center and/or 24x7 on-call support./li/uldivdivPosition Qualifications/divulliBachelor's Degree or High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of Technology experience/lili6 years of Mainframe computer operations / scheduling experience./lili6 years of experience with IBM z/OS, CA 7/11 software for job scheduling and management/lili6 years of experience with JES2 commands, CA-1, CA-7, CA-11, Job Control Language(JCL)/lili6 years of experience with MVS, TSO, VTS and SMS/lili2 years of integrating or building technical solutions/lili2 years of leading collaboration discussions to solve business problems/liliThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.
