FCA US, LLC Human Resources Information Systems Manager in Auburn Hills, Michigan

The Human Resources Information Systems Manager is responsible for providing vision, leadership, direction, and management of business process projects and HRIS initiatives in support of strategic and operational needs across HR. We are seeking an experienced HRIS lead to join the Business Process and Operations organization within Human Resources (HR). This position leads business process initiatives, system projects, analyzes complex business systems, and develops business requirement specifications. As a business process expert this individual will work with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations and IT to drive business process optimization. The individual in this role must become a subject matter expert (SME) for the processes that HR supports in order to have an optimal understanding of how to best maximize our human resource data.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:•Functionally responsible for the employment processes as implemented within PeopleSoft HR•Partner with HR functions, stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional teams to define business requirements•Partner with IT to develop the tactical system implementation plans including test plans, UAT plans and launch schedules•Lead efforts to accomplish significant improvements in process efficiency, speed, quality and delivery by proactively identifying opportunities to solve recurring issues, improve inefficient workflows and enhance user experience•Develop project plans, prioritize project requests, monitor project completion to assigned deadlines, and ensure quality and timely delivery of solutions•Define and ensure execution of effective HR processes such that accurate and timely employee data is produced, transmitted and secured/stored as required•Overall accountability for data integrity to include quality, accuracy, SOX compliance, and usability of employee data and related interfaces, by implementing adequate controls and audits•Provide leadership and expertise in all aspects of HR’s information systems•Stay abreast of HR technology best practices and changing technologies to maintain domain expertise and make recommendations for enhancements or change based on changes in HR Strategy or HRIS roadmap•Understand statutory and regulatory requirements affecting all aspects of HR processesBasic Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree•Minimum 7 years of progressively increasing responsibility and experience in Human Resources Information Technology Management (HRIS, HRIT or HRTMS), or Human Resources Operations / HR Business Partner roles or related fields•Ability to establish strategic plans that impact business success•Strong networking and collaborative skills•Highly proficient in Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:•Master’s degree•PeopleSoft HR platform experience preferred•PMP certification•Six Sigma and/or LEAN experience•Proven track record of developing and managing team members and others, including extended relationships•Demonstrated past experience in effective decision making and strategic thinking – proven ability to generate and implement innovative solutions, ability to think enterprise wide and be a thought leader establishing strategic operational plans, always keeping the “big picture” in mind•Prior experience with SaS Cloud Systems implementation, configuration and management including upgrades, development, testing, and operational standards and processes•Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively t
