Persepcta has an immediate need in our US Public Sector group for a HP Service Manager Engineer.
Perspecta is seeking HP Service Manager Engineerto Design, Install, Configure, Integrate, Deploy, and Sustain HP ServiceManager based IT Service Management solutions.
You need to be a passionate and drivensoftware engineer/developer with a keen sense of solving problems.
Design, Install, Develop, Integrate,Deploy, and Sustain a HP Service Manager solution using one or moremodules: Service Desk, Incident, Problem, Request, Service Catalog,Knowledge, Change, & Configuration.
Candidate's engineering responsibilitieswill include: support Project Plans; participate in Technical Meetings;implement a system per the Functional Specifications and Concept ofOperations.
Implementation responsibilities includecustomizing standard software builds, and integrating with external tools.
Adapt ITIL process and implement themwithin HP Service Manager.
Perform testing and documentation asrequired by the project.
Upkeep and document HP Service ManagerSoftware to include server builds, hot fixes, patches, and upgrades.
Work in a collaborative manner with HPService Manager Support to address and track open issues.
Must have an active or the ability to obtain Secret SecurityClearance and DoD 8570 certification
Knowledge of ITILv3 processes required.
Experience with 9.3x and higher required.
Experience upgrading from HPSM 9.3x is a plus.
Experience or exposure with commonthird-party ITSM software: ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, JIRA, etc.
Experience working in an Agile Environment.
HP Service Manager Certification is a plus.
Proficient in Oral Presentation and WrittenCommunications skills.
A Technical Bachelor's or 3-5 years ofexperience related to the duties listed.
