FCA US, LLC Engineer Driveline Architecture in Auburn Hills, Michigan
The Driveline Architecture System Engineer is responsible for the advanced engineering of driveline systems from concept through the component sourcing phases of a program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to delivering vetted system architectures, preliminary component designs, ACE packaging models, performance calculations and sub system technical specification requirements. The Engineer will work directly with the driveline engineering core (COE), development, the releasing organizations and in conjunction with the chief engineer organizations to understand customer requirements, translate them into driveline functional objectives and ultimately into a design concept and set of preliminary component specification.Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university (other engineering disciplines will be considered with relevant experience)•Minimum 5 years of engineering experience•FMEA, DVPR, PFMEA experience GDT experience•MS OfficePreferred Qualifications:•Driveline component engineering experience including RDM, PTU, half-shafts, props-hafts, transfer cases and manual transmission•Knowledge of DFSS tools and techniques (DOE, DRBFM, Pugh matrix, etc.)•Proficient in Teamcenter and NXOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
