TEC Group Inc Connected Services Feature Architect in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Description: The Feature Architect will help implement, expand and maintain various connected vehicle feature enablers and connected services. This position will be a key member of the Architecture team, and will share architecture, design, and support responsibilities within the team. Responsibilities: liUnderstanding business strategy and defining systems architecture to support that strategy./li liContributing to overall architecture and design, working closely with enterprise architects/li liWorking with Quality Assurance and developers to ensure software builds meet system, functional and performance requirements and adhere to corporate policies such as security and privacy/li liResearching, analyzing, and evaluating service delivery methods and techniques./li liIdentifying and evaluating platforms and technologies to meet business needs/li liSystems architecture, System design, implementation and ongoing administration,/li liTranslating business needs into Enterprise application requirements/li liDeveloping artifacts such as Entity Relationship Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, User Stories, Use Cases, Swim Lanes./li liPartnering with Delivery lead to develop a delivery schedule and drive solution delivery according to plan./li /ul Industry: Automotive Job Type: Contract/Full Time Start Date: Immediate Pay Rate:DOE Requirements: liBachelor#39;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area required./li li5+ years of leadership responsibility in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders./li liStrong knowledge of requirements gathering techniques/li liExperience in developing artifacts such as Entity Relation Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, User Stories, Use Cases, Swim Lanes, etc./li liDemonstrated leadership and initiative with the ability to collaborate with the global team to creatively solve complex problems/li liExperienced with integrating complex multi-systems solutions and with Cloud, iOT platforms/li liExperience with evaluating systems designs, API design and development practices/li liTroubleshooting / Root cause analysis experience/li liAbility to indirectly lead a cross-functional team towards a common solution/li liAbility to work within an offshore application development supplier engagement model/li liSelf-starter with the ability to quickly learn complex business processes/li liStrong multi-tasking capabilities in a cross-functional setting/li liExcellent problem solving and communication skills both oral and written/li liAbility to interact with business partners and service providers at multiple levels/li liAbility to hold themselves and others accountable for resolving issues and maintaining project timelines/li /ul Preferences: liExperience working in Connected Features Design or Development/li liExposure to AGILE, DEVOPS ITIL concepts/li liExperience in managing DFMEA#39;s, vehicle CAN Bus and logging tools is a plus/li /ul Benefits Available with this Position: liCompetitive Hourly Rate/li liOvertime Eligible/li liHealthcare (Medical, Dental, Vision)/li liDisability and Life Insurance/li liPTO/Vacation Time/li li
