Comerica Cloud Factory Program Manager Vice President Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan

The Cloud Factory Program Manager is responsible for delivery of Enterprise programs, program management methodologies/processes, tools and metrics. Provides program management oversight to corporate initiatives of extreme complexity and strategic agility. Program Manager Senior will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of programs with at least 7 related projects with a delivery length of 24 months or greater. Provides expert leadership, instruction, and direction to all team members as they complete their responsibilities. Regularly communicates with executive leadership. The role is to be the lead person within the DBTO Release Orchestration and Implementation Group, responsible for the management of the RO and the associated teams that will include both Comerica Employees and Contingent Workers. Responsibilities: * Provide expert leadership and oversight to extremely complex, visible and large budget programs and bring successful completion on time, on budget and to customer satisfaction delivering project business benefits. * Provide expert management of risk management plans to decrease the probability and impact of events adverse to the project. * Manage conflicting projects, environments, and resources and recommend appropriate sequencing/mitigation plan. * Provide direction to advance Comerica standard project management methods and business processes by communicating program/project management techniques through presentations, whitepapers, courses and other approaches. * Managing complex multi-function delivery relationships with executive leadership (Vice Chairman, CIO, CTO, SVP and EVP), establish relationships of trust with management and colleagues; and driving consensus across the organization on difficult topics. * Regularly make strategic decisions and solve complex issues for assigned programs independently. * Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiation and reconcilement of vendor invoices and hold vendor accountable to cost/schedule/quality deliverables. Effectively manage vendor code release management. * Support release and change management processes as well as integration with Corporate processes. * Set the release schedule and scope for recommended sequencing and coordination with vendor for code builds. * Candidates should be able to work in highly fluid environments and be comfortable with multiple, ambiguous deliverables. * Candidates will be expected to provide insight and guidance to both the DBTO Lead and the Procurement Leader and support their recommendations based on the results of their analysis of opportunities or issues. * Candidates will be called upon to work with a team of other skilled professionals and they will be expected to not only be a subject matter expert but also capable of stepping into help other members in activities outside of their expertise. * Manage and lead transformation and diversity initiatives. * Employ expert financial acumen with proper financial forecasting and create financial reports for executive leadership communication. * Review and approve the program budget updates and maintenance. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university * 10 years IT and/or Business project coordination experience * 8 years of leadership experience * 8 years Program management experience * 8 years Vendor management and negotiation experience * 5 years of leading or management experience in highly visible strategic release orchestration / implementation projects or programs * Candidates must have experience in migration of applications from enterprise premise (mainframe) environments to cloud environments Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
