St. Jude Children's Research Hospital HRIS Programmer Specialist in Ann Arbor, Michigan

We have an exciting opportunity in the Human Resources (HR) department for an HRIS Programmer Specialist. This position serves as a technical resource for workforce analytics that will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications and databases in support of department objectives through collaboration with HR personnel. An ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic statistical methods such as significant differences in means between groups, associations between categorical variables, probabilities (logistic regression), survival analysis, etc. This position will be responsible for: * Providing statistical analysis of workforce data to identify actionable insights. * Building, deploying, and monitoring predictive models based on employee behavior. * Employing the use statistical tools such as R or Python. R Shiny for model deployment a plus. * Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a Computer Science/Computer Information Systems or related major at Junior/Senior level * Requires one (1) year of software development experience and two (2) semesters of programming or database related concepts * An understanding of data visualization and dashboard creation with tools such as Tableau preferred * Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes preferred * Familiarity in SQL and the use of database management tools and query languages, specifically Microsoft SSMS and TSQL preferred * Exposure to web development, JavaScript and c# strongly preferred * None * NoneSt. Jude is an Equal Opportunity EmployerNO SEARCH FIRMS:St. Jude Children's Research Hospital does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
