TD Ameritrade Enterprise Project Manager in Ann Arbor, Michigan

We are an enterprise data group reporting into chief data officer, who’s core responsibility is to provide enterprise grade solutions and systems for the company. At TD Ameritrade the importance of data and demand to access the data to make decision is increasing rapidly. This project management role will be working on multiple data projects that are critical to the growth of the company. The area of technology will span across data lake, visualization as well data governance and business specific analytics solutions.

  • Responsible and accountable for shepherding projects through project lifecycle and provide enterprise management for all project related activities.

  • Partner with business and technology to prioritize the demand, engage resources and manage budget

  • Ensure functional and technical solutions are accepted by sponsors prior to development

  • Seek and review input from cross functional team and make final decisions regarding project scope

  • Identify, track, and resolve/escalate project issues and/or risks

  • Help to gather metrics and measurements of portfolio results and health with accuracy, consistency, and data integrity

  • Innovation: generate new ideas and/or new ways to implement the ideas

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-7 years as a Project Manager with successfully running diverse cross-functional teams

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical skills

  • Strong ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities

  • Experience in presenting to senior management

  • Experience in facilitating meetings with different type of audiences

  • Experience with SharePoint and Jira

  • Experience in Scrum (maybe functioned as a Scrum Master in a past role, but not required)

  • Experience in contract negotiation and management
